If you’ve ever wondered where your food really comes from—or just wanted to pet a shaggy cow, drink wine from a local winery, and enjoy fresh-baked goods made with lard rendered from locally raised pigs ... all in the same afternoon—the Pendleton County Farm Tour is for you.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 12th, from 10AM–5PM, and get ready to take a self-guided journey through the heart of Pendleton County’s thriving farm community. Now in its third year, the Pendleton County Farm Tour features 10 local farms and agricultural businesses opening their gates to the public for one special day. Whether you’re a long-time supporter of local food or just curious about what it takes to grow vine-ripened, early-season tomatoes, see honeybees in action and learn how honey is harvested, turn raw fiber into yarn, or walk the wide fields of 100+ acre farms growing corn, soybeans, hay, and straw—this is your chance to experience the beauty and hard work of local agriculture up close.
🧑🌾 What to Expect:
Interactive stops, demos, and kid-friendly activities
Homemade goods, farm-fresh snacks, and unique products for sale
A chance to meet the hardworking people behind Pendleton County’s agricultural scene
Scenic drives, cute animals, and wholesome summer fun
✨ This year’s tour includes several of your favorite vendors from the Pendleton County Farmers Market, as well as some hidden gems you’ll be glad you discovered. And best of all—it’s free to attend!
