When you think of a farmers market, what comes to mind? Maybe rows of fresh produce—juicy tomatoes, sweet corn, and crisp greens. But at the Pendleton County Farmers Market, we proudly live up to our motto: More than Corn & Tomatoes.
While you’ll certainly find farm-fresh food from local growers, you’ll also discover a treasure trove of handcrafted goods made by talented artisans in our community. These aren't just pretty decorations—they're practical, beautiful, and made with care.
Handmade with Heart
Crochet Creations
Soft, huggable, and stitched with skill, the crochet animals at our market aren’t just for kids. They’re keepsakes. Whether it’s a tiny stuffed cow, a cheerful frog, or a wise old owl, each one is crafted with love. And if you’re looking for something practical, you’ll also find reusable Swiffer pads—because cleaning should be both sustainable and stylish!
Varieties of crocheted items that will be available this year at the PCFM, from mini purse to hold your coins from Lawson’s Crochet & Woodburning, to re-usable swiffer pads and stuffed "peep" that makes the perfect addition to your Easter basket.
Jewelry & Burned Hats
From hand-strung necklaces to intricately burned leather patches on hats, our artisans bring wearable art to the market. Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift? A custom hat with a hand-burned design might be just the thing.

Poured with Purpose
Each small-batch candle is hand-poured with care by Sue at Catalpa Ridge, blending cozy scents and simple ingredients to create a warm, inviting glow. Whether you're unwinding after a long day or setting the mood for a quiet evening, these handcrafted candles bring comfort and charm to any space.

Hand-Warming, Soul-Soothing Rice Packs
Winter may be behind us (for now), but there's always a need for comfort. Locally made rice hot packs can be warmed up to soothe sore muscles or cold hands. And come the chill of autumn, you’ll be glad you grabbed one!

More Than a Market—A Community
The Pendleton County Farmers Market isn’t just a place to shop; it’s a place to connect. When you buy a crochet animal, a hand-sewn apron, or a burned leather hat, you’re not just supporting a small business—you’re investing in your community. Every item has a story, and every purchase keeps those stories alive.
Come visit us this season, meet the makers, and see for yourself why we’re More Than Corn & Tomatoes!
